COAL CARGO COMING
"The sailing from Greymouth this morning of the Union Company's collier Kartigi, carrying 2200 tons of coal for the Auckland Gas Company, will completely relieve the gas supply position," said the manager of the Gas Company, Mr. R. Worley, this morning. The Kartigi had been bar-bound at Greymouth and although she could have sailed yesterday morning, she was held up because of the absence of a member of the crew. She is expected to reach Auckland on Friday.
