TAXI ROSTER SYSTEM
SEVEN APPEALS UPHELD Seven appeals against the direction of the Auckland Taxicab Control Committee requiring private taxis to operate under a roster system were upheld by the Auckland Transport Board, sitting as the Metropolitan Licensing Authority, yesterday. The appeals, made by city and suburban operators, were heard on July 23, decision being reserved in all cases.
