VISIT TO WELLINGTON P.A. WELLINGTON, this day. The first British submarine to visit Wellington has arrived here from Auckland and Gisborne. She is about 700 tons and the captain is an Australian, Lieutenant W. E. Littlejohn. The officers and crew of the submarine were entertained by the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. W. Appleton, and civic authorities.
