[ INCIDENT IN HOTEL SUPREME COURT SEQUEL P.A. NAPIER, Monday. A charge of attempted murder against James Percival Bear was not sustained in the Supreme Court today, a no bill being returned by the Grand Jury. The Court proceeded with an alternative charge of discharging a firearm with intent to do grievous bodily harm. The case is the sequel to the firing of a shot during an alleged struggle with a woman in a Hastings hotel.
