USE OP AMERICAN FORCES Rec 10 a.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 5. The Assistant Secretary of State, Mr. Dean G. Acheson, revealed in a broadcast that the State Department considers the President does 'not need to gain Congressional approval
any time he decides to use American forces for the preservation of peace under the United Nations SecurityCharter.
Mr. Acheson stated that a United Nations Trade Conference has been tentatively scheduled for the beginning of 1946. __
