DRIVE FOR CLOTHING
EFFORT AT WHANGAREI O.C. WHANGAREI, Sunday. A generous response was made to a clothing drive for the liberated people of Europe, held in' Whangarei on Saturday. A committee of women, assisted by members of the Whangarei Rotary Club and other organisations, arranged the drive, and schoolboys made a house-to-house visit. Members of the Rotary Club provided cars for transporting the parcels to the Town Hall. Sorting and packing of the articles will be carried out this week.
