MR. C. C. MARSACK APPOINTED
Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Charles Croft Marsack, a member of the legal profession in Masterton for some years, has been appointed a stipendiary magistrate and will take up his duties in Palmerston North towards the end of the month. He will succeed Mr. H. P. Lawry, who is proceeding to Christchurch to become principal magistrate there, in succession to Mr. E. C. Levvey, who is retiring. Mr. Marsack served in the 1914-18 war and recently returned to the Dominion after nearly six years of service overseas in the present war, with the rank of lieutenant-colonel.
