WAIHI SQUADRON-LEADER P.A. WELLINGTON, Thursday. The citation to the , award of a bar to the Distinguished Flying Cross won by acting Squadron-Leader J. R. Cullen, D.F.C., son of Mr. G. R. Cullen, of Whangamata Road, Waihi, has now been received at the Air Department from the Air Ministry, London. "Acting Squadron-Leader Cullen has participated in very many sorties since he was awarded the D.F.C.," says the citation.
