Assets. —Government debt, £11,000,000; Government securities, £1,338,300,000; other securities £7,000,000: fiduciary issue, £1,350,000,000; gold coin and bullion, £241,000. . Banking Department Liabilities.—Capital, £14,000,000; rest, £3,400,000; public deposits, £11,100,000; bankers' deposits, £221,000,000; other accounts, £55,000,000. Assets.—Government securities. £256,900,000; advances, etc., £5,800,000; other securities, £12,200,000; notes and coin, £31,100,000. Proportion of reserve to liabilities, 10.82 per cent (previous week 15.51 per ctnt); discount rate, 2 per cent, unchanged.
