THEFT OF BICYCLE
GISBORNE, this day.
Fourteen clays' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on Bill Te Moro, aged 22, who pleaded guilty in the Gisborne Police Court to stealing a woman's bicycle valued at £8. The accused took the bicycle in town and rode it to Pouawa where he stripped articles to the value of £3 6/ from it, then abandoning the bicycle. The accused was ordered to make restitution.
