VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY
Without retiring, a jury in the Supreme Court yesterday returned a verdict of not guilty in a case in which Richard Henderson Looker, 21, flight-sergeant (Mr. Leary and Mr. Brown) stood trial on a charge that at Pukekohe he attempted to commit rape The offence was alleged to have occurred when complainant accompanied accused to a secluded place after a dance.
