NEW HEAVY BOMBER
OPERATING AGAINST JAPAN SYDNEY, July 29. A new type of heavy bomber, the 832 is now being used against Japan, states the Sydney Morning Herald correspondent in Manila. It is slightly smaller than the 829 (Super Fortress). The bomber can fly at more than 300 miles an hour and can carry a sizable load on long-range missions. It has a wing Span of 135 feet, is more than 83 feet long, and its height is more than 32 feet Empty, it weighs 26 tons, and can fc>« loaded up to 50 tons.
