FATAL PLANE CRASH
INDIAN BAZAAR TRAGEDY

More than 100 persons were killed and many injured when an aeroplane crashed on an open-air bazaar near Nadaripur, in Bengal. The plane, which was flying low, fouled the telegraph wires and fell into the crowded market-place. One hundred laden river boats were destroyed. The pilot and the five other occupants of the plane were killed.
