AUCKLAND - SUVA ■ 'FRISCO Four return air services a'week between San Francisco and Suva with one branching off to Auckland and the other three to Sydney, were envisaged to-day by Mr. Harold Gattv, a representative of PanAmerican Airways, who arrived frcm the United States recently to inform the Government of the company's plan for resumption of its Pacific service. . When the proposed new service was in full swing it would be faster and progressively more frequent, and the fares would be lower than the first class steamer rates, he saia. The fare between New Zealand ana California would be about £90, plus Government tax.
