For the first time for several years snow was clearly visible from Thames this morning on the hills across the Hauraki Gulf in the Miranda and Hunua districts. -By about 10 o'clock most of the ?now appeared to have melted. At most the fall appeared to be a light sprinkling on the summits but with glasses it could be seen in valleys.
