SURPRISE IN CANADA
Rec. 12.30. MONTREAL, July 26. All Canadian political circles have expressed surprise at the result. A Government spokesman said that the British elections had been fought largely on domestic issues. Labour and the Conservatives were pretty well in agreement on foreign policies and inter-Imperial relations.
