Sequel to a Supreme Court action some months ago, an unsuccessful litigant, Mrs. Ethel May Devenish Meares, orchardist, of Tauranga, was adjudicated bankrupt to-day by Mr. Justice Callan. Petitioning creditor was Mr. H. O. Cooney, solicitor, Tauranga (Mr. Henry), who had been awarded £350 costs when Mrs. Meares was unsuccessful in her legal action against him. The costs had not been paid by her.
