HARD OF HEARING LEAGUE A report made at the annual meeting of the New Zealand League for the Hard of Hearing stated that increasing numbers of ex-servicemen were attending the lip-reading classes. It was the aim of the league to give these men every assistance. The following officers were elected: President," Mrs. J. L. Schischka; vicepresidents, Lady Robertson, Mrs. J. Hardie Neil, Miss B. Carnachan; secretary, Mrs. E. M. Blackie; treasurer, Miss I. Mackie; committee, Mesdames F. J. Gwynne, T. Harrison, W. H. McCorkindale, E. I. A. MacDonald, Miss M. E. Shutes, Dr. J. Hardie Neil, Mesdames Tennant and Guiness.
