SMALLER BOARDS WANT SHARE P.A. WELLINGTON, Thursday. A conference representing the Gisborne Nelson, New Plymouth, Oama-u, Timaru and Wanganui Harbour Boards, which met m Wellington to-day under the presidency of Mr W. H. Price, chairman of the Wellington board, unanimously passed the following motion: "That this conference of delegates reDresenting boards who have su&eredl serious loss of revenue brought about by the centralisation of overseas shipping is of the opinion that the time is opportune to» approach the Overseas Freight. ComSee with a view to returning to the system of loading and discharging in existence before the war." ■ A deputation was appointed to wait on the committee this week.
