DISTRICT NURSING SERVICE'
Parliamentary Reporter. WELLINGTON, this day. An assurance that it was the Government's intention to extend the district nursing service was given by the Minister of Health, Mr. Nordmeyer, in the House of Representatives yesterday during discussion on the Social Security (District Nursing Services) Regulations, 1944. As an indication of that desire, added the Minister, it was a fact that the Government was, for a)l practical purposes, now meeting 100 per cent of the cost.
