SCHEME FOB HAMILTON O.C. HAMILTON, this day. The Hamilton Borough Council decided last night that the deputyMayor, Mr. E. G. -Scrimshaw, and the chairman of the Housing Committee, Mr. D. C. Street, should ascertain from a local firm the prospects of erecting fifty prefabricated nouses in three months' time. The I council decided that in the event of roofing for the transit camp, near the I Fairfield bridge, not being/available a fortnight, the chairman of the Housing Committee be authorised to arrange for alternative 1 materials to be used.
