IMPRISONMENT FOR THEFT
O.C. TE AWAMUTU, this day. Two, Maoris, jJViri Kingi, of Whakatane, and Teni Warrana, were charged before Messrs C. A. Reilly and L. G. Armstrong, J.P.'s in the Te Awamutu Police Court with the theft of articles of clothing. They pleaded guilty, and each was convicted and sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour.
