SUCCESSES AT MANAWATU
P -A. PALMERSTON NORTH, Sunday. The Manawatu and Rangitikei Hunt Clubs' combined steeplechase meeting was held at Awapuni yesterday in fine weather, before a large attendance. The totalisator handled £U3,432, against £24,573 10/ at Marton last year, and £63,614 10/ at Awapuni in 1943. The course was in good order.
