Demonstrations in first aid, resuscitation and fire fighting were given when an inspection of the Remuera Cadet Ambulance Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was made by Mr. D. F. Mackay, Commissioner of the Brigade. Mr. Mackay was accompanied by Mr. H. W. Thompson, district officer for cadets, and Canon R. L. Connolly. Forty boys were on parade under Cadet-Superintendent H, N. Russell. The new brigade colours were in charge of a colour party of three cadets. The divisional football team paraded in their colours and ■\yere presented with a new football by Mr.' H. Vickers.
