GIRLS FOR HOSPITAL Reserved decisions have been given by the Auckland Industrial Manpower Committee in connection with appeals lodged by several insurance companies and heard by the committee on Thursday in respect of ten girls in the 21-22 age group who had been directed to work at the Green Lane Hospital. The appeals of six firms on behalf of seven girls were allowed and the appeals of two firms on behalf of three girls were dismissed. An appeal by one firm on behalf of an employee was with; drawn by the manpower authorities for medical reasons.
