"Stealing wheels or tyres from motor vehicles is usually punished bv imprisonment, but in this case 1 will make an exception in view of this voung man's previous good record," said Mr. J. Morling, S.M., in the Police Court to-day when he admitted Ralph Maxim Judd (18), to 12 months' probation on a charge ot stealing a motor cycle wheel, tyre and tube, valued at £7 10/. Mr. Trevor Henry appeared for defendant, who pleaded guilty.
