HELP FOR OLD PEOPLE
A total of 5250 meals had been served to old people in the quarter just ended, it was stated at the quarterly meeting of the Methodist Central Mission board of management last evening. Firing had also been distributed. The sum of £2010 had been spent in social service and the new building fund had been augmented by £2000, making the present total £37,140. Mr. E. Robinson was received as an accredited local preacher, and Mrs. Davis was appointed an official hospital visitor. Congratulations were extended to the Rev. A Everill Orr, his staff and voluntary workers o" f -N»tr work during a record quarter.
