SEVERE HEAD INJURIES
CAB AND CYCLE COLLIDE FA. WAIROA, Wednesday. While going along Marine Parade in opposite directions yesterday a car, driven by Mr. P. O'Kane, M.Jj.C. and a cycle ridden by Mr. Samuel O'Neill, a single returned soldier, came into collision. Mr. O'Neill was thrown heavily to the road, suffering severe head injuries. The injured min was taken to the Wairoa hospital and his condition is very serious. He has not yet regained consciousness.
