Licenses granted for the importation from the United Kingdom ol babies' clothing suited for wear by infants up to two years of age may bo utilised for the importation from Australia of similiar knitted wear which is b-h-.g made available there for export to New Zealand, advises the Customs Department, Auckland. Reinforcing wire is to be regarded as a "control" item and anolica'ions will accordingly be-con-sldered for import licenses. Applicants must specify tho gauge and type of wire they propose to order.
