SALE APPEAL DISMISSED An appeal against a decision of the North Auckland Land Sales Committee fixing the value of 25 acres of grass land south of »Pukekohe at £2790, by the vendor, trustees in the esate of John Muir (Mr. Rose), was heard by the Land Sales Appeal Court yesterday. The price had been fixed in respect to a sale to Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Frost (Mr. Peak), who desired to complete the contract at £3500. Mr. S. T. Barnett appeared for the Crown.
In evidence several valuers gave valuation ranging frqm £2377 to £3669, based on sales of comparable properties in the vicinity. The Court agreed that the Committee had fixed a fair value, and dismissed the appeal.
