REGATTA AT HENLEY
NEW ZEAIiAND EIGHT CHOSEN N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 11 a.m. LONDON, July 16. A New Zealand eight has been selected to row in a regatta at Henley next month, when crews from Australia, Canada and the United States are also expected to compete. The crew is being trained by G. H. Macdonald, the former Olympic oarsman. It rows twice daily from the Lyons Club at Hammersmith, London. B. R. Durie, from Wanganui, who with the late H. Robertshaw, won the New Zealand pair oar championship in 1935, is stroke. R. Hanson is seven, R. W. G. 'Alexander six, C. R. Melernon five, N. E. Kay four, O. C. Gould three, B. Goldsbury two, and B. A. Specen bow.
