BUTTER OUTPUT UP
KAITAIA company report O.G WHANGAREI, this day. The production of 2390 tons of butter for the past season was revealed in the report of the Kaitaia Dairy Company. Although dairying conditions climatically were unfavourable the output went up seven per cent, due to an increase in the number of cows milked and total suppliers growing to 578. Deferred payment of 2.4 d pet 1 lb, together with wages ahd farm costs allowances; will bring the total payout to 19.737 d per lb.
