Cadet Rating Alan Mudford, second son of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Mudford, of 9, Erson Avenue, Royal Oak, has received his commission in England. Sub-Lieutenant Mudford, prior to going overseas under scheme B last August, was attached to an Army coastal battery for three years. He was educated at the Royal Oak Primary School and the Seddon Memorial Technical College.
