TWO-UP INTERRUPTED
Making a voluntary appearance before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., in the Police Coilrt to-day, Henry William Thomas Jones (48), a Maori, pleaded guilty to a charge of using premises in Phillips Street as a common gaming house.
Detective-Sergeant Aplin said that at 4.20 p.m. yesterday ' Constable Richardson found a game of twoup going on in a room specially set up as for gaming. Jones admitted conducting a game of two-up since Saturday. Jones was fined £20.
