The Government meteorologist issued lo the Auckland Star this arternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland rrovlncc to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— An anti-cyclone is centred near Lord Howe Island and a depression is moving into the South Tasman Sea from Tasmania. Forecast to 5 p.m. Wednesday: Modcrale southwesterly to westerly winds. Isolated showers at first along the west coast; weather otherwise fair to fine. Temperatures, cool with light frosts inland.
