CHARTER FOR R.SA. CLUB
REFERENDUM FOR MEMBERS The annual report of Auckland R.S.A. states: A provisional application has been lodged through headquarters for a charter but no further step has been taken for the following reason: As this is a very important matter, and there may be a wide disparity of opinion amongst members, it was thought to be too vital for a final decision to be made by a resolution of committee or even of a general meeting—especially as these meetings are not very well attended. It was decided, therefore, to have a referendum amongst members at the time of the annual election and at the bottom of the ballot paper provision has been made for a vote on this most important matter. If the majority decide in favour of a charter, the application will be proceeded with; but if to the contrary, the application will De withdrawn. Members are requested to consider the pros and cons very carefully and seriously, and to cast their votes according to their wishes. The method. of voting is very simple: if you are in favour cross out "No" and leave "Yes," but if against do the opposite. Please exercise your vote.
