MEN FROM PACIFIC
QUESTION OP RE-BOARDING O.C. WHANGAREI, this day. "A man's whole future may be adversely affected, and even primary Eroduction itself may be retarded, y dilatoriness in the re-boarding of men, and it is suggested that men returned from Pacific service should be re-boarded before they attempt to get back into civilian life," said Mr. H. F. Guy, speaking at .an Armed Forces Appeal Board sitting at Kaikohe.
Counsel quoted an instance before the board of a man who had been back a year, had taken up farming and was now forced to go to .the indignity of appealing against further service, when he was reasonably sure he would be rejected as medically unfit. The appeal was dismissed in the knowledge that the reservist would then be examined. A large proportion of appeals with respect to farmers and farm workers were dismissed.
