Prediction Causes Excitement In Syrian Chamber SHARES SLUMP ON BOURSE Rec. 11.30 a.m. LONDON, April 10. A message from Damascus states that great excitement greeted the announcement in the Legislative Chamber by the Syrian Prime Minister, M. Bichara el Khoury, that
he had received information from high Allied sources that the news of the cessation of hostilities was imminent. Shares on the Syrian bourse thereafter eluded.
