HEAVY TRADING DONE K.Z. INSURANCES FIRMER Brokers had another busy day on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day when turnover again reached high proportions. In the main values were steady. In first business since Easter New Zealand Insurance shares were 6d firmer at £4 10/6 at which prices buyers stayed in. Buyers took a more conservative view regarding Bank of New Zealand scrip, and offers were reduced to £2 S/, then amended to £2 8/6, with vendors adamant at £2 9/9. Government Issues were involved in a large share of the trading.
