Pilot-Officer N. R. Jones, who received his commission in England, has promoted to FlyingOfficer. Flying-Officer Jones is the son of Mrs. G. O. Jones, of 216, Great South Road, Green Lane. He was educated at the Opotiki High School. After holding commissioned rank in the Army Flying-Officer Jones transferred to the R.N.Z.A.F.
