EXTRIES IXCIjTTDE SYDNEY HORSES
A feature of the entries for the chief events at the Auckland Racing Club's summer carnival, which is to be held at Ellerslie on December 26 and January 1 and 2, is the of two Sydney horses, Kiaree and Shining Night, both members of Maurice McCarten's Rand-
wick team. No fewer than 354 nominations have been received for the five principal handicaps, as against 283 last year. The Auckland Cup has drawn SO entries, and the Railway Handicap 47, while there are 101 in the Nathans Memorial Handicap. Details of the Cup and Railway nominations are:—
