MORE SHIPPING DELAYS

(0.C.) GREYMOUTH, Sunday. Unfavourable weather has hampered activities at Greymouth to a serious degree. Little or no coal was loaded on Friday into the Poolta or Kiwitea, while a start has yet to be made in loading the Pakura. Rain further interfered yesterday, when only i short time was worked, and to-day no work was done. The Rata was diverted to Westport on Friday night because the bar was unworkable. The Karu has been loaded and ready to sail for Wellington for the past four days. There was an increased volume of water in the Grey River this evening, and the vessels in port all had extra chains and moorings out.
