Watts —Sharp.—The engagement is announced between Daphne Kay, twin daughter of Mrs. A. W. Sharp and the late Mr. G. S. Sharp, of Mission Bay, and Sergeant H. R. E. Watts (on furlough, Second X.Z.E.F.), son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Watts, of Mount Eden.
Osborn —Taylor—The engagement is announced between Verna May, eldest daughter of Second-Lieutenant L. R. Taylor (overseas), and Mrs. Taylor, of 8, Beatty Av., Mt. Roskill, and Sergeant John Robert Osborn, R.X.Z.A.F., only son of Mrs. Osborn, of 21, Ngaire Av., Epsom, and the late Mr. John Osborn, of Morrinsville.
