INJURED IN FALLS

When he fell from a telegraph pole at Milford yesterday, a linesman employed by the Post and Telegraph Department, John Waite, aged 17, of Forest Hill Road, Milford, fractured his skull. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition to-day was fair. Concussion and a fractured left wrist were suffered by William Frank Holmes, aged 8, son of Mrs. L. M. Holmes, of Victoria Road, Takapuna; when he fell from a tree near his home yesterday afternoon. He was in a fairly serious condition at the Auckland Hospital to-day.
