AIRGRAPH MAIL DELAY

(PA.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Postmaster - General, Mr. Webb, stated to-day that airgraph mails from Britain for New Zealand handed in since approximately January 13 had been delayed at an intermediate point on the journey to New Zealand. The majority of these mails were again on the way, however, and should arrive in New ZeaT? nc i T^ e New Zealand Jrost Office was in no way responsible for the delay, and strong representations were made to the appropriate authorities as soon as the delay became known, and he was hopeful of the early resumption of the satisfactory service New Zealand had had in the past. Outward mails had not been delayed.
