(P.A.) GORE, this day. The Gore Racing Club's belated summer meeting was held in dull weather to-day. The attendance was large and the track in good order. Results:— HIGHWEIGHT HANDICAP of £225. Eight furlongs and a half. I—2—BENBECULA, 9.o—Dawson 1 3—3—COY, 10.5—Heasley 2 B—B—TIMBER TOPPER, 9.o—Shaw 3 Scratched: Royal Rae, Sal's Pal, Red Hope, Lady Friend. Length; neck. Time 1.14.
