Airmen of the R.A.F. Transport Command recently took an American heavy bomber from Canada to India in just over two days, including stops totalling nearly 10 hours. It was a routine delivery of a new Liberator bomber. It took off from Montreal in 45 degrees of frost, with a full cargo of aircraft parts and radio equipment, and 49 hours 32 .minutes later, landed 8500 miles away at Karachi, where the tem--1 srature was 95 degrees.
