Of the twelve New Zealand Trotting Cup candidates engaged in the Hannon Memorial at Oamaru on Monday, the coupled horses, Countless and 'Loyal Rey, are expected to participate in the finish. Joan Conquest is a better mare to-day than she has over been, and the Haughty-Hardy Oak bracket have trained satisfactorily. These horses may shade their opponents. Integrity should receive solid support for the Dash Handicap, while Erinack should get a place in the President's Handicap.
