The largest crowd of the season at Newmarket saw Ivingsway record a surprise win in the Two Thousand Guineas, with Pink Flower second and Way In third. Heads separated the placed horses. Time 1.37 3-5. Nasrullah, the most discussed classic favourite for many years, finished fourth. Kingsway is a bay colt by Fainrr- from Venna, Pink Flcwer by Oleander— and Way In by Fairway—lnstantaneous.
