WORLD AND RELIGION
(0.C.) HAMILTON, Monday. The need for religion in the settlement of the world's "roblems and in the promotion of civilisation was emphasised by Archbishop WestWatson, of Christchurch, at a social attended by the parishioners of Hamilton, Frankton and Claudelands at Frankton this evening. The archbishop was entertained by the St. Peter's Church of England Men's Society. Bishop Cherrington pr*« sided over a good attendance.
